Iconic designer Vico Magistretti was born in 1920 in Milan. After earning his architecture degree as a contemporary of both Gio Ponti and Ernesto N. Rogers, Magistretti gained recognition through his involvement in the post-war reconstruction period in Europe. His designs remain highly sought after by collectors.
