'Stemlite' Table Lamp by Bill Curry for GUBI
 
Originally conceived in 1962 by designer Bill Curry, the award-winning 'Stemlite' line became known as a 'total look' lamp. The base and shade function as a single unit, and may be mixed and matched with various bases to use as either a pendant, table, floor or wall lamp. The 'Stemlite' was used on the set of the original Star Trek series, and remained in production until 1977. 
 
The 'Stemlite' Table Lamp is an authorized re-edition from GUBI, executed in frosted mouth-blown glass shade and a painted steel base.
