'Stemlite' Pendant by Bill Curry for GUBI
 
Originally conceived in 1962 by designer Bill Curry, the award-winning 'Stemlite' line became known as a 'total look' lamp. The base and shade function as a single unit, and may be mixed and matched with various bases to use as either a pendant, table, floor or wall lamp. The 'Stemlite' was used on the set of the original Star Trek series, and remained in production until 1977. 
 
Executed in frosted mouth-blown glass shade and a painted steel base, the 'Stemlite' Pendant is a clever and contemporary inversion of the original design, suitable for a wide variety of interior applications.

Accommodates a single E26 medium base 8W LED, 800-900 lumens (Max W 12 LED), not included. Recommended Tala bulb available separately here. Rotary on/off switch and dimmer on base. Ships with 13' of grey cloth-covered cord and canopy to match shade finish.
