'Stemlite' Floor Lamp by Bill Curry for GUBI
 
Originally conceived in 1962 by designer Bill Curry, the award-winning 'Stemlite' line became known as a 'total look' lamp. The base and shade function as a single unit, and may be mixed and matched with various bases to use as either a pendant, table, floor or wall lamp. The 'Stemlite' was used on the set of the original Star Trek series, and remained in production until 1977. 
 
Executed in frosted mouth-blown glass shade and a painted steel base, the 'Stemlite' floor lamp is an authorized re-edition from GUBI. The "Stemlite' line also includes a table lamp, pendant, and wall light.

Accommodates a single E26 base 8W LED, 800-900 lumens (Max W 12 LED) not included. Recommended Tala bulbs available separately here. Rotary dimmer on base. Ships with on/off switch on 86.6" of grey cloth-covered cord.
