‘Oh Me Mai Weiss’ Chandelier in Aluminum for Ingo Maurer
 
‘Oh Mei Ma Weiss’ was created by celebrated German lighting icon Ingo Maurer. With creativity and technical prowess, Maurer’s lamps have been explicitly designed to “stimulate the imagination and excite the emotions.” Today the artists in his Munich workshop continue to handcraft incomparable creations true to the one of a kind spirit of the firm’s founder.
 
The stunning ‘Oh Mei Ma Weiss’ chandelier is fashioned from six thin aluminum sheets in various sizes with a matte-white lacquered textured paint finish suspended from thin metal cables. The aluminum shades are nested above each other to create a soft, ethereal diffusion of light throughout a space. Like a sailboat, it gracefully floats above the room.  ‘Oh Mei Ma Weiss’ is suspended from an adjustable silver cable. Alternate version available with a maximum drop of 18 feet, please inquire.

Illuminated with 1x (2x for Kabir Weiss) built-in 39W Zhaga socket EEC F (A-G) energy class LED, providing a maximum brightness of 3890 lumens (7780 for Kabir Weiss), a color temperature of 2390 K, and a CRI >95, plus a 1W up-light blue LED. Dimmable with a trailing-edge dimmer when operated with the product’s native light source (Dimmer not included). Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from an authorized 3rd party vendor for an additional fee.
