Called by Pablo Picasso "the most wonderful pendant lamp in the world," this sculptural and organic piece was designed by renowned architect J.A. Coderch in 1954. It has since become a much sought-after icon of Spanish midcentury design. Lovingly re-editioned by TUNDS, it is fabricated with high-quality materials, exacting craftsmanship, and abiding respect for the environment. Executed in white methacrylate with semi-gloss black anodized aluminum rings sourced from Germany.

José Antonio Coderch (1913-1984) is considered one of the most valued architects in Postwar Spain. Often described as the architect of modernity, his works are still seen as vivid examples of contemporary architecture and his legacy includes hundreds of listed buildings all over Spain. Coderch gained significant recognition throughout his career, winning the architecture FAD awards in 1960 and 1972. Founded by Rafael Salvador, the great-nephew of the J.A. Coderch, TUNDS is the exclusive manufacturer of Coderch's designs. The lighting is created from the original pencil sketches recovered from Coderch's archive.
