Set of 3 1970s White Conical Gainey Planters in the Manner of LaGardo Tackett.
Executed in matte white glazed ceramic. A very clean and increasingly rare example manufactured by iconic ceramics manufacturer Gainey Ceramics, highly reminiscent of the sought-after designs of Architectural Pottery collaborator LaGardo Tackett.
Drilled with three drill holes per planter. Note a hairline crack along the base of one of the planters; piece remains structurally sound and crack does not compromise the integrity of the vessel. All planters retain original manufacturer's stamp on their undersides.
Gainey Ceramics has been in the business of manufacturing the finest quality hand-crafted containers for more than 40 years, spanning 3 generations. Gainey pioneered functional yet visually appealing plant containers, becoming the choice of professional architects, landscapers, interior and exterior designers throughout the midcentury era.
Please note that these pieces are from our personal collection and are currently being used by us as planters; as a result, some additional age appropriate wear including water marks, mineral deposits and soiling are present.
Some age appropriate patina, dings, scuffs and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy. Note hairline crack and three drill holes as featured in the listing images. Additional photos available upon request.
All sales are final.
