Designed by Christoph Matthias and produced by Ingo Maurer, one of the most celebrated German lighting icons since 1966. With imagination, creativity and technical prowess, Maurer’s lamps have been explicitly designed to “stimulate the imagination and excite the emotions.” Today his Munich workshop continues to craft celebrated creations true to the one of a kind spirit of the firm’s founder.
 
The 'Canned Light', capable of being used as either a pendant or wall lamp, is a creatively packaged lamp with a nod to the past pop-art culture. Originally designed to be hung in the kitchen, this lamp's functionality as either a pendant or wall lamp is an ideal solution to interject color and light into any space. As a pendant the height is adjustable with the integrated pulley and string. Executed in tin, stainless steel and plastic. Fabricated with thoughtful attention to detail, use of high quality materials and incomparable craftsmanship.

Accommodates 1x GU10 bulb with a maximum 10W equivalent (suitable for light sources of energy classes A-G). Dimmable according to switch (switch not included). Suspended by a steel cable with a maximum drop up to 78".  Includes canopy and box for surface mount, the Canned Light accommodates both flush mount as well surface mount whether displayed as a pendant or wall light. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from an authorized 3rd party vendor for an additional fee. Contact us to facilitate.
