Arne Jacobsen 'AJ Wall' Black or Grey and Brass Wall Light for Louis Poulsen
 
The 'AJ' series was originally designed in 1957 by Danish designer Arne Jacobsen for the lighting collection of the iconic SAS Royal Hotel. Today, his furniture and lighting designs are sought after by collectors worldwide.
 
Executed in spun steel, the 'AJ Wall' lamp's iconic shade emits a comfortable, downward focused light. The angle of the shade can be tilted approximately 90 degrees up and down and 60 degrees to each side to optimize light distribution. The shade is painted white on the inside to ensure a soft comfortable light. This new for 2025 warm grey or black variant features brass hardware accents on the stem and optional switch. Brass is unlacquered and will develop a patina over time. Hand-polishing will restore the shine if desired.
 
Price is per item. Made to order. The AJ Series includes outdoor wall and bollard versions, regular and mini table lamp sizes, and a floor lamp.
