Verner Panton 'VP Globe' pendant lamp in acrylic for Verpan
 
Verner Panton was one of Denmark's most legendary modern furniture and interior designers. His innovative experimentation with new materials, bold shapes and vibrant colors shines through in his most iconic pieces, faithfully and sustainably re-editioned by Verpan since 2003.
 
First created in 1969, the 'VP Globe' highlights the unmistakable futuristic and sculptural design DNA of Panton. Created to be equally appealing alone or displayed in clusters, the 'VP Globe' expertly features five internal reflectors of either handblown glass or hollowed-out aluminum suspended by three steel chains. With choice of reflectors in opal or smoke glass, plated brass, plated chrome or brushed aluminum, including with accents of warm orange contrasted with cool blue lacquer, and encompassed by the clear acrylic outer sphere, the 'VP Globe' is meticulously fabricated to the exacting standards of Verpan using the finest materials available.
 
Price per item. Available in unlimited quantities in 15.8" or 19.7" diameters as well as a choice of reflectors in brushed aluminum, plated chrome, plated brass, opal white glass or smoked glass. 
 
Please note, due to the nature of this lamp's design & materials it cannot ship parcel, but instead must ship on a pallet via LTL to help ensure it remains intact throughout transit. It does not qualify for free shipping. Please inquire for a custom shipping quote.

Accommodates single candelabra base E12 bulb (15.8") or standard medium base E26 bulb (19.7"), bulb not included. Max 60 watt, lower with incandescent. Suspended by fabric cord with max drop of 13' from metal canopy in either matte white, chrome or brass finish. This lamp is UL listed.
 
SHIPPING NOT INCLUDED: Item ships direct from Verpan in Denmark. In order to facilitate the most accurate shipping cost, the buyer will be invoiced separately for the actual international shipping cost once the ordered item(s) have been fabricated and are ready for transport. Buyer is responsible for all customs duties, fees and import taxes as well as the removal and disposal of any packing materials.
