Poul Kjærholm 'PK8' Dining Chair for Fritz Hansen.

Established in 1872, Fritz Hansen has become synonymous with legendary Danish design. Combining timeless craftsmanship with an emphasis on sustainability, the brand’s re-editions of iconic pieces from such Danish Modern greats as Arne Jacobsen, Hans J. Wegner, and Vico Magistretti pay homage to the originals while thoughtfully incorporating innovation and responsibly sourced materials.

Originially designed in 1978, the PK8 chair perfectly exemplifies Kjærholm's visionary approach where art and functionality intersect. Executed in anodized brushed aluminum base with choice of black or white lacquered nylon plastic shell and a range of leather upholstery options. For many years, PK8 existed only as a prototype in the home of Hanne Kjærholm, the wife of Poul Kjærholm. It was introduced to the public only in 2007 at an exhibition at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art.

Price per item. Available in unlimited quantities. Choice of black or white lacquered nylon plastic shell with leather upholstery in either Aura or Grace leather (see swatches).
