The 'PH 3/2' Opal Glass Table Lamp by Poul Henningsen stems from his own original brilliant three-shade system designed in the late 1920s. Henningsen's design from this period was highly functional, combining clean geometry with impressive minimalism. Inspired by a mathematical approach, Henningsen sought to create glare-free, direct light and soft shadows.
The 'PH 3/2' table lamp is executed in choice of metallized brass, metallized black or high luster chrome plated brass with mouth blown opal glass shades. Glossy on top and sandblasted matte on the underside, the shades allow light to diffuse softly and create a warm, ambient glow.
