'Pierre ou Paul' Steel Dome Pendant for Ingo Maurer
 
From celebrated German lighting icon Ingo Maurer comes the striking ‘Pierre ou Paul’ pendant. With artistry, humor and technical prowess, Maurer’s lamps have been explicitly designed to “stimulate the imagination and excite the emotions.” Today his Munich workshop continues to handcraft incomparable creations true to the irreverent and thought-provoking design aesthetic of the firm’s founder.
 
The ‘Pierre ou Paul’ pendant takes the form of a durable dome, composed of steel and aluminum for an industrial, contemporary look. The framework is illuminated by an integrated LED which brings brilliant light from overhead. The large pendant light is perfect for larger spaces such as lofts, large homes, restaurants, hotels, etc. Three counterweights make it possible to freely adjust the pendant’s tilt and height and illuminate a whole room, or focus on an area, a piece of furniture or a work of art. The fixture’s height is fully adjustable from 21.5 to 157.5 inches with the use of three counterweights. ‘Pierre ou Paul S’ has only one counterweight and is only adjustable by height.

The Ingo Maurer ‘Pierre ou Paul’ pendant uses two 22W EEC G (A-G) energy class LEDs providing a maximum brightness of 3200 lumens, a color temperature of 3000 K, and a CRI >90. Dimmable according to switch (switch not included). The lamp is suspended from a 6.3 inch-diameter canopy by silver cables with a maximum drop of 13 feet. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from an authorized third party vendor for an additional fee. Contact us to facilitate.
