The Laguna's lyrical design casts a warm and diffused light. Executed in handblown milky white glass with crystal finish at the top and mounted on a brass or gold finished aluminum base. According to Thun, "The lagoon of Venice was the main inspiration: Its fascinating atmosphere, its light, and its mist. The character of the collection reflects its main material: handblown glass from Venice."

Born in Italy in 1952, Matteo Thun co-founded the Memphis Design movement in 1981. Having trained as an architect, his practice promotes designs that are simple in appearance but complex in meaning. The winner of many awards, in 2004 he was inducted into the Interior Design Hall of Fame.
 
The small Laguna variant accommodates a single 20W equivalent E12 base LED bulb. The medium and large accommodate a single 20W equivalent E26 LED bulb. UL listed. Dimmer on the cord for medium and large. Switch on the cord for the small. Bulbs not included. Bulbs available separately here.
