Large Romolo Lanciani 'Tender' table lamp for Tronconi.
A rare large-scale example executed in opaline glass and enameled metal, circa 1980s Italy. A surprisingly refined and minimal design, especially for its time and place. Executed in thick opaline glass and white glossy metal finish, Italy, circa 1980s, the 'Tender' is a modern take on 19th century railroad tender lights. The handle is functional, and allows the lamp to be lifted or moved. The Tender lamp handles were produced in a variety of colors, and the lamp was also produced in a smaller table lamp size.
