Originally designed in the 1950's by legendary creator Hans J. Wegner, the 'CH25' easy chair was the first piece of furniture to use natural paper cord as a back and seat rest. Specifically chosen for its optimum durability and non-stretching characteristics, this chair's design & materials quickly ushered in paper cord's use among other designers - a testament to Wegner's visionary approach. Each chair requires 400 meters of paper cord and 10 hours of hand-weaving through a meticulous process completed by skilled craftspeople. The striking result is an exceptional chair that is as comfortable to sit in as it is fascinating to view from all angles. Executed in wood, paper cord and choice of finish.
 
Price per item. Available in unlimited quantities in choice of FSC certified oak or walnut wood, with finishes in soap, lacquer, oil, white oil or black as well as choice of natural or black paper cord. Price dependent on variant, please inquire for price of specific variants.
