'Birdie' pendant lamp in goose feather wings for Ingo Maurer
 
Designed and produced by Ingo Maurer, one of the most celebrated German lighting icons since 1966. With imagination, creativity and technical prowess, Maurer’s lamps have been explicitly designed to “stimulate the imagination and excite the emotions.” Today his Munich workshop continues to craft celebrated creations true to the one of a kind spirit of the firm’s founder.
 
The 'Birdie' pendant creatively features goose wing feathers allowing this lamp's light to 'give flight' around the swirling and adjustable wire structure. Unique feather-shaped shadows are the result of this Maurer masterpiece. Executed in tinned copper wire and goose feather wings with thoughtful attention to detail, use of high quality materials and incomparable craftsmanship.

Illuminated via 12 low voltage LED bulbs (bulbs included) each providing 1.5 watts, creating 1200 lumens at 2600k color with CRI >95. Dimmable according to switch (switch not included). Standard length of fixture is 39" but can be customized to a longer length for an additional cost. Canopy houses low voltage transformer. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from an authorized 3rd party vendor for an additional fee. Contact us to facilitate.
