1960s Opaline Glass & Copper Pendant Lamp Attributed to Stilnovo.

 

A quintessentially 1950s Italian design executed in opaline glass with copper shade. A highly functional and sculptural suspension light of attractive scale and incomparable refinement attributed to Bruno Gatta's work for Stilnovo. Unmarked.

 

Stilnovo was one of the most innovative lighting design companies in Italy during the midcentury era. Their designs have been long sought after by discerning collectors.

Price is per item. Five lamps available.

 

Each lamp accommodates 1x 60W equivalent standard medium base (e26) LED bulb (LED only). Professionally rewired for US electrical with new period-style ceiling canopy and new black cloth cord added. Adjustable max 60" drop. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Contact us to facilitate.

 

Some age appropriate scuffs, dings, nicks, patina, and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy. Please note that only one representative example appears in the photos. Some variation between lamps, but all lamps in comparably good condition and present well as a set. More images available upon request.
