Pair of 1950s Boris Lacroix table lamps. These rare and elegant table lamps are executed in black metal and brass, France, circa 1950s. A celebrated Art Deco lighting designer who successfully made the transition to Mid-Century Modern idiom, Jean Boris Lacroix's iconic table lamp shares a similar aesthetic to the much sought after Minimalist designs of his peer and protege, Serge Mouille. CONDITION: Good. Rewired single 60 watt max US candelabra bulb, black cloth cord, professionally restored. Minor variations in lamps due to differing production dates. Some dents bends, bumps and folds in the metal shades (see photos) noted only for accuracy.

WEAR: Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor structural damages. Minor fading.
