Vilhelm Lauritzen 'VL Ring Crown 1' Pendant for Louis Poulsen
The 'VL Ring Crown' family derives from a lamp designed by architect Vilhelm Lauritzen for the Danish Broadcasting House in Copenhagen in the 1940s. Reintroduced in 2019, this is a highly refined and iconic design by one of the Danish Modern giants of the midcentury era.
The 'VL Ring Crown 1' Pendant is executed in untreated brass with a single mouth blown three-layered polished opal glass shades. The untreated brass structure will develop a beautiful patina over time. The pendant emits a soft downward light while the opal glass provides comfortable and uniform illumination.
