This legendary design originated from Henningsen's brilliant three-shade system designed in 1925-6. Using a mathematic approach, Henningsen sought to create glare-free, direct light and soft shadows. The resulting design led to hundreds of models ranging from floor lamps to table lamps, pendants, chandeliers, and wall lamps.
 
The 'PH 2/1' Portable table lamp is executed in mouth blown white opal glass with frame available in brass metallized or high luster chrome plated brass. These luxurious materials and finishes are paired with a rechargeable battery for a wide range of applications. The stepless dimmer provides a dim-to-warm light indoors and out.

IP 44 outdoor rated. Qi charging or USB-C charging options (cord included). The PH 2/1 portable version offers 5.5 hours of battery life at 100%, 13 hours at 45%, 45 hours at 20% and 120 hours at 5% brightness. A full charge takes approximately 5 hours. Memory feature recalls the last setting when turned off or on. Stepless or step dimmer programming on base. Integrated LED light and charger are replaceable by a certified electrician.
