Handblown in thick opaline glass with white cord and canopy. Originally designed in 1954 in Finland, the 'Sipuli' (which is Finnish for 'onion') received a gold medal at the Milan Triennial the year it was introduced. It is sculptural, symmetrical, and harmonious design is striking alone or in groups.
