Designed by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba and produced by Foscarini, the Italian lighting firm founded in Venice on the legendary island of Murano, where generations of master glass blowers have skillfully used their unmatched imagination and skill to create the most innovative works of light into the modern era.
 
The ‘Rituals XL’ is fabricated using many of the same artisanal glass blowing techniques perfected over centuries, with thoughtful attention to detail, use of high quality materials and incomparable rigor and passion. Incised with surface engravings that recall the bamboo ribbed washi paper of a Japanese light sculpture or traditional Chinese lantern, the ‘Rituals XL’ is executed in handblown glass with its unique striped effect achieved through a meticulous step by step process.

Accommodates a single standard medium base e26 bulb, maximum 150 Watts Equivalent LED bulb (bulb not included) or 1x halogen bulb requires 60 watts minimum output (bulb not included). Powered via 47" transparent cable with integrated on/off switch. This lamp is ETL listed, recommended UL listing possible from an authorized 3rd party vendor for an additional fee.
