Large 1950s Stilnovo brass and glass pendant. A quintessentially 1950s Italian design executed in matte finish opaline glass and brass with a custom modified architectural ceiling canopy for mounting over a standard American J-box. A highly functional light sculpture of attractive scale and incomparable refinement. Pendant measures approximately 6 inches in diameter x 22 inches in height. Retains original manufacturer's yellow label.
 
Stilnovo was one of the most innovative lighting design companies in Italy during the midcentury era. Their designs have been long sought after by collectors in the know.
