Founded in 1946 in Milan, Stilnovo was one of the most innovative lighting companies in Italy during the Mid-century era, producing iconic pieces by such luminaries as Joe Colombo, Angelo Mangiarotti, Ettore Sottsass, Gaetano Scolari, Piero Castiglioni, Bruno Gatta and others. Stilnovo was relaunched in 2019 with a commitment to faithfully re-edition its legendary designs with uncompromising attention to detail, materials and craftsmanship.
 
The 'Triedro' floor lamp, originally designed by Joe Colombo in 1970, is largely reminiscent of professional studio lighting found at a photo shoot.  Featuring a glossy white powder coated reflector, contoured with 90 degree angles, which is then cleverly affixed to the steel stem via a double joint.  Colombo's design affords maximum flexibility with the reflector capable of providing up, down or sideways light, in addition to being raised or lowered along the chromed stem.
