Ignazio Gardella was one of the leading figures in Italian twentieth-century architecture. A graduate of the Politecnico di Milano, he founded Azucena with Luigi Caccia Dominioni and Corrado Corradi Dell’Acqua in 1947. A renowned architect, he continued producing iconic furniture and lighting designs until the 1990s.
Originally designed by Gardella in 1956 for Azucena, the 'Arenzano Bassa' is an authorized Tato Italia re-edition. Executed in metal with an opaline glass diffuser.
