Limited Edition I Ricchi Poveri ’Five Butterflies’ Table Lamp for Ingo Maurer
 
This playful and poetic table lamp at the intersection of design and nature comes to us from the brilliant imagination of Ingo Maurer, one of the most celebrated German lighting icons since 1966. With creativity and technical prowess, Maurer’s lamps have been explicitly designed to “stimulate the imagination and excite the emotions.” Today his Munich workshop continues to craft incomparable creations true to the one of a kind spirit of the firm’s founder.
 
Five ethereal cabbage white butterflies flutter in suspended animation around the mesmerizing radiance of a single naked light bulb. 'Five Butterflies,' originally designed in 2014, is an exceptional limited edition of just 200 pieces. The handmade, hyper realistic butterfly models are positioned around the bulb using thin wires and illuminated almost from within with a delicate glow once lit. The rod holding the bulb is flexible and slightly curved. The halogen bulb is manufactured exclusively for Ingo Maurer and can only be used in the designer’s I Ricchi Poveri product family. Edition number is engraved on the base’s brass retaining bolt.

Executed in steel and brass with handmade insect figures. Illuminated via 1x 35W A19/A27 halogen bulb, providing a maximum of 380 lumens (360°). 2 complimentary bulbs are included. Color temperature adjustable between 2000-2700K and CRI >90. Featuring a 9’10” transparent electrical cord with 110V, continuously variable transformer and slide dimmer included.
