Gino Sarfatti Model 238/2 wall lamp for Astep.
 
Designed in 1959, this is an authorized Astep/Flos re-edition by Alessandro Sarfatti, grandson of Gino Sarfatti, who applies his grandfather's scrupulous attention to detail and materials to offer a tightly curated selection of iconic lighting originally produced by Arteluce.
 
The Le Sfere collection is the largest product family by Gino Sarfatti with models that have developed over time, from the first single sphere, Model 237, to the iconic twenty-four-sphere chandelier. All created from the same fundamental principle: a beautiful interpretation of the perfect luminous sphere. Executed in a pair of opaline glass spheres held in place by a sculptural black or champagne painted metal structure.
 
Price is per item. Available to order in unlimited quantities with a choice of opaline glass globe paired with a black or champagne frame, or a clear glass globe with black frame and extended lead time. Also available with a single glass globe as model '237/1' or the '238/1'.

Accommodates 2x medium base E26 LED bulb (not included) with a maximum of 60 Watt Equivalent. Recommended Tala bulbs available separately here. The 238/2 mounts over a standard US j-box, directly into the wall's surface. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor for an additional cost.
