Carl Auböck Model #4327 Metal Wall Hook.

Designed in the 1950s, this versatile and minimalist midcentury hook is executed in choice of patinated or polished brass or brushed nickel by Werkstätte Carl Auböck, Austria. Idea for entry halls, powder rooms, closets, or installed in multiples where bespoke storage is needed.

Produced by Carl Auböck IV in the original Auböck workshop in the 7th district of Vienna using the same exacting standards, high-quality materials, original molds and techniques of his legendary namesake. Auböck's design career was long and varied, reaching its pinnacle of prestige at the Triennale di Milano in 1954, where he received four gold medals in recognition of his iconic work.

Price is per item. 4 of each finish in stock and ready to ship. Inventory availability subject to change without notice. Out of stock lead time can add 2-3 weeks or more.

Please note that only one representative example of each item is shown in the images. Finish varies from item to item due to the handmade nature of their fabrication and due to the unique chemical patination process, which is meant to simulate 80-100 years of exposure of brass to sunlight. Polished brass will patinate over time; shine can be restored if desired using any brass polish.

Made to order. All sales are final.
