Executed in painted metal with a marble base, this contemporary numbered edition includes a certificate of authenticity and is made in France by Disderot with many of the same small-scale manufacturing techniques and craftsmanship as the original run. The A23's modern form combined with a high quality finish and wide range of colors make it a welcome addition to any space. Its articulating shades allow for illumination in almost any direction.
Alain Richard began his brilliant career as a major in arts décoratifs. He designed for Meubles TV, Disderot, and Mobilier National. He specialized in interiors for museums, banks, embassies, and the RER train lines. His uncluttered approach, free from superfluous decoration, created simple and perfectly balanced style in his designs.
