1950s Glass & perforated metal pendant attributed to Bruno Gatta for Stilnovo.

 

A quintessentially 1950s Italian design executed in opaline glass and black painted metal. A highly functional and sculptural suspension light of attractive scale and incomparable refinement. Pendant measures 6.5" D x 10.25" H.

 

Stilnovo was one of the most innovative lighting design companies in Italy during the midcentury era. Their designs have been long sought after by collectors in the know.

Professionally rewired for US electrical but not UL listed. Recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Contact us to facilitate. Accommodates 1x medium base 100 watt equivalent bulb (lower with incandescent); custom period styled canopy added for compatibility with US electrical J-box. Some age appropriate scuffs, dings, nicks and wear as largely shown in photos and noted only for accuracy.
